Responsible for curriculum planning and program administration, staff supervision and development. Under the direction of the ELOP Director, plan, organize, implement, and supervise an on-site after school extended day program for school age children. The mission of the Santa Barbara Alumni Association is to build mutually beneficial lifelong relationships with UCSB alumni for the purpose of promoting philanthropy, mobilizing for advocacy and providing opportunities for service to UC Santa Barbara. The Programs Coordinator will also manage the Advance Database as well as staff events and provide onsite support when needed. The Programs Coordinator must work collaboratively across multiple departments and divisions including the central development office, the Office of Public Affairs as well as with the various schools and units with the intention of supporting alumni connections with students, increasing capacity and use of the Gaucho Network, and recruiting participants for alumni/student activities intended to foster philanthropy and engagement. University has the authority to change or revoke hybrid scheduling with reasonable notice. The Programs Coordinator reports to the Programs Director and assists with the development, coordination, and implementation of the UCSB Alumni Association and Alumni Affairs' marketing and communications plan.
